Year 5/6 PGL Residential
Polebrook and Easton Garford School teamed up last week to go on an exciting residential at PGL in Wales. It was full of exciting outdoor activities including abseiling, kayaking, mountain trails and much more!
The children and staff had an amazing time and each day was as full on as the one before. Activities started at 9.20am and finished at approximately 5pm each evening. We stayed on a lovely farm overlooking the Welsh countryside, with a large field which was perfect for playing outdoor games.
The activites were amazing. Some of the children's favourites included: Jacob's ladder, the zipwire and aeroball. Some children (and staff) overcame their fears during the activities and the support for each other to complete each activity was fantastic.
Overall the residential was a tremendous success, the staff at PGL were so impressed with our group that we had a reputation around the site for being one of the best behaved groups! Well donev everybody!
