Shabbat Day

Green Class had a wonderful visit from Lynne Gremson who taught us all about how Jewish people celebrate Shabbat from sundown on Friday to sundown on Saturday. We learnt a lot about the customs and family traditions surrounding this special day of rest. We even got to set our own Shabbat table and eat Challah (bread) and drink wine (grape juice). It was an amazing experience.

KS1 Sports Hall Athletics Event 

Members of Green Class took part in the cluster Sports Hall Athletics event for Years 1 and 2, held at Prince William School in Oundle. 

The children had  practised for the event in PE lessons so were prepared for each of the acitivities. They worked hard as a team and cheered one another on showing great support for each other and other schools.

Overall Polebrook gave a fantastic performance - well done everybody!
