Year 5 STEM Event 

This term, Year 5 had the opportunity to take part in Oundle School's STEM Festival. Some of the activities the children participated in included going inside King's College's Planetarium, exploring Virtual Reality, Mixing chemicals with fire and of course the favourite.... dissecting a heart! 

The children thoroughly enjoyed each of the activities and were amazing Polebrook ambassadors! 

NMPAT's The Festival 

Some of our KS2 children took part in the NMPAT Festival at The Derngate Theatre in Northampton this week. This was an opportunity for schools to share their talents in the arts. Our dance teacher, Emma, had choreographed a dance which was all about being “The Greatest Version of Yourself”. The children were incredible. There were so many tricky lifts and moves but the children represented Polebrook in such an amazing way. The dance was so emotional to watch and we cannot wait to share it with you all!

Bikeability 

Members of MLK Class have taken part in their Bikeability training this week. The children learnt all about how to stay safe on the roads and then applied their knowledge and developed their skills by riding around our local area with their qualified instructors. The instructors said each group was incredibly respectful and listened carefully to instructions. Well done everyone! You will receive your badges and certificates in Celebration Assembly! 

SATs Celebration!

Well done and a huge congratulations to our Year 6s who have successfully completed their tests this week. You are all superstars who truly deserved a special treat at the end of the week - an ice-cream party!
