Celebrations and Festivals - Red Class Baptism

We went to All Saints Church for a very special event.

John Daniel was going to be baptised.

His mummy and daddy pushed his pushchair to the church, with the three godparents and all the guests.

Rev.d Cathy put water in the font.

Then she poured water onto the baby's head.

She made the sign of the cross with special oil on the baby's forehead.

The parents were given a Special Candle for John and a Baptism Certificate.

The children asked lots of questions about baptisms.

What a lovely celebration.
