We have had an exciting day today attending 'Red Class Wedding' at our local church.

We have been finding out about Celebrations and Special Times in our RE lessons. We have found out about different types of weddings and tried on wedding outfits from different cultures and faiths.

Our visit to the church helped us understand more fully what is involved at a wedding at Polebrook church and how it may be celebrated.  

The bells were ringing as the guests arrived at the church. The wedding music started and the bride walked up the aisle with her father and bridesmaids.

Rev.d Cathy welcomed everyone to the church to join in celebrating this special occasion.

The best man looked after the gold ring. The bride and groom said their vows. 

The bride and bridesmaids carried special bouquets of flowers.

The guests joined in with the service.

We looked at the wedding register and then the bride, groom and witnesses signed our special register.
