Pupil visit to Parliament
Recently three of our Year 6 children were chosen to represent our school as young governors on the annual RLT Trip to Parliament.
They were lucky enough to go to the Houses of Commons and watched a real-life debate with MPs!
In the afternoon, they went to a huge room where Henry VIII used to play tennis, as historians had found a mouldy tennis ball high in the roof (what an amazing fact!).
The children said the tour was really impressive and they felt very important walking round.
They hope to return one day especially if they can write their own laws!
