Polebrook and Glapthorn attended an RLT athletics event at Corby Athletics Track with 5 other RLT schools where all children in Key Stage 2 were able to spend the day taking part in all kinds of athletic activities.

Each child was able to have a go at all activities which included running, long jump, obstacle courses and throwing.

It was lovely to see Glapthorn and Polebrook cheering each other and being incredibly supportive of one another as well as cheering the other RLT schools.

I am proud to say the children of Polebrook did very well in each event winning lots of 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd places! Congratulations to these children and all of our children who tried so very hard and gave it their best in each event.

Some of the children said yesterday was one of the best days of their lives and it was evident through the participation and fun the children had all day. It was a great opportunity to bond with our trust schools and we look forward to the next one!
