Success for MLK class with their Bikeability
Last week, MLK class had their Bikeability training.
This involved four half hour days of training.
Level 1- the training took place on the school playground where they could learn in a traffic-free environment.
Level 2 - they went out on the roads where they learnt to - start and stop with more confidence, pass stationary vehicles parked on a road, understand the road: signals, signs and road markings, negotiate the road: including quiet junctions, crossroads and how to share the road with other vehicles.
All who completed the Bikeability received a certificate, badge and handbook.
Well done to all for all your hard work, this is a great life skill!
