  • The 'egg challenge'!

    Tue 24 Mar 2026

The Science Ambassadors invited everyone to take part in the 'egg challenge'

The Egg Drop Challenge is a classic STEM activity where participants build a contraption to protect a raw egg from breaking when dropped from a height.

The goal is to apply physics concepts—like increasing impact time, reducing velocity via air resistance, and cushioning—to withstand gravity!

So last Friday, the whole school watched the amazing designs being dropped from a height. Some made it and some didn't!

Great fun was had by all.

  • World Book Day 2026

    Fri 06 Mar 2026

Today we celebrate World Book Day ‘Read your Way’, with this year’s theme ‘The Magic Faraway Tree’ by Enid Blyton.

All our children (and staff) have pulled out all the stops with their costumes, we even have a tree!

The classrooms have been transformed into ‘lands’ the children experienced in the Magic Faraway Tree. The lands include: Dream land, Space land, Pirate land and Art land.

The children have a great and busy day ahead and already have done the annual ‘cat walk’ to show off their costumes.

Following MLK, FK and DA class, SW class have gone to Kidlit today.

At the end of the day, parents are invited into school to share a story with their child
