  • Year 5 and 6 Tag Rugby

    Thu 21 Mar 2019

Please enter an introduction for your news story here.

Yesterday our Year 5 and 6 children took part in a cluster school tag rugby tournament at Oundle Rugby Club.

The children formed two teams consisting of Glapthorn and Polebrook pupils.

They thoroughly enjoyed themselves and it was a real joy to see all the children bonding and working hard as a team.

This was an after school event and was great to see so many children giving up their time to represent the school and of course parents for your continued support.

The children have now all got the tag rugby 'bug'! and have asked to have a KS2 Polebrook Tag Rugby tournament in the summer.

To continue with learning about Celebrations and Special Times in their RE lesson. Red class visited All Saints Church for a baptism. Again the children took on roles at a baptism and Rev Cathy re-enacted the ceremony. It was a lovely afternoon and celebration.
