Polebrook children celebrate May Day
Just before half term, Polebrook children celebrated May Day with their traditional maypole dancing.
The children all looked really smart in their outfits and the whole afternoon was a huge success. Even the sun was shining!
On the Friday, the whole school walked to the war memorial to lay the flowers.
A huge thanks to everyone involved in the organisation, our wonderful FOPS Friends of Polebrook School for the catering and the children from DA class for donating cakes and the Year 5 children for making and selling lemonade.
A special thanks for the flower donations and for the amazing volunteers who created such wonderful displays. We could not have done it without you!
