Christmas countdown at Polebrook
What a busy week it has been for all our children and staff!
Monday, our choir entertained the residents at Polebrook Nursing home and would like to say a huge big thank you to every member for giving up your free time to sing.
I am sure you will all agree that the KS2 carol service on Thursday night was a wonderful evening to remember. The children led the service with readings and songs and certainly entertained us with their rendition of ‘Sparkle and Shine’ all wearing sunglasses!
Today, was Christmas Jumper day raising money for Save the Children, and every child wore their jumper with pride and I am always amazed how many different creations there are.
Mid-morning, visitors from the village community and parents returned to school for a coffee and mince pie and entertainment from all our children, even a sneaky preview performance from our youngest members of the school.
Well done to all our children, you have all been amazing and keep it going for another week.
