SCHOOL PREMISES OFFICER

In partnership with the central facilities team, manage and maintain the school premises to a high standard.  This will include working in more than one primary school across The Rutland Learning Trust.

Salary: NJC Scale 5, spinal point 12-17 : £22,183 - £24,491

37 hours: Monday to Friday

Full time, Permanent.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, flexible, responsible and hard working team player seeking the opportunity to apply skills, knowledge and experience to make a meaningful difference within school environments where children always come first.

The successful applicant will have proven experience of property maintenance, a commitment to high standards for health and safety, as well as the ability to manage resources and coordinate contractors to ensure the schools are clean, safe and well maintained.

We are seeking to appoint an individual with a ‘can-do’ attitude and excellent communication skills who is able to relate well to children and adults.

The role will require the successful applicant to travel between schools within the Trust, managing various sites with the support of the Lead Premises Officer and other Premises Officers already in the Trust to ensure statutory compliance and ensure buildings are maintained to a high standard.

Lunchtime Supervisor

6.25 hours a week, term time only, Monday to Friday, 12:00 -1:15pm

This role is paid at scale 1, point 1-2 depending on experience.

Main Purpose of the post: To be responsible for ensuring the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the midday break.

Polebrook School is a small, popular village school with a friendly, dedicated staff team and supportive parents and Governors. Our children are enthusiastic about learning and enjoy school life. We have 85 pupils on roll.
