June 2015

The weather has be kind to us this term, apart from the first session for Red Class, which was unfortunately far too windy to go into Forest School . However we had enormous fun flying kites in the meadow next to Forest School.

Year One and Two were the first to visit Forest School after the Easter break and now the Reception children are having their turn. We are continuing our classroom theme of “Look at little closer” involving plants and minibeasts.

Activities have included sketching plants and trees, rubbings of bark and other textures in nature, plasticine leaf printing, leaf animals, tree canopy observations and minibeast hunts.
