Sports Relief Run

On March 14th, Polebrook school took part in running for Sports Relief and we created our own course on our field to run around.

The challenge was to be able to walk or run a mile in total and our Sports Crew worked out that it was 12 laps around the school field! All classes took part with KS1 running at break time and KS2 running after lunch. However, Mrs Speirs was fantastic as she ran a mile both times! Everybody tried incredibly hard to reach a mile and all the children supported and cheered each other on.

Many of the children also raised money for Sports Relief by being sponsored to run or buying wristbands to show their support. Overall a fantastic event for a great cause. Well done everybody!
