Red Class Baptism
On Tuesday 15th March 2016 we walked down to Polebrook Church for a very special Christening service.
The parents walked down to All Saints' church pushing the pram with their family and friends.
When we arrived at the church Rev.d Catherine explained to everyone about baptism and what it means to be baptised at Polebrook church.
Everyone walked over to the font near the north porch.
Rev.d Catherine made the sign of the cross on the baby's forehead with water.
A Blessing was said for the baby after she had been named.
The parents were given a special Baptism candle for the baby.
The parents and godparents had a photograph taken standing in front of the font.
Rev.d Catherine walked with the parents and baby as they left the church and went out into the wider community and world.
